I’m not a fan of Valentine’s Day. It feels more like a commercial ploy to fill the space between Christmas and Easter, than a day for people to demonstrate their love for one another. I prefer little gestures throughout the year; bars of my favourite chocolate delivered to my couch, spontaneous weekend lunches, home-cooked dinners and flowers, simply because.
I was on Ireland AM (click here to see Alan and I talking) this morning talking about Glamping, a new(ish) trend taking Europe by storm. What is Glamping? It’s basically glamour camping. The campsites are all set up with tepee tents, tree-houses, vintage caravans or eco-lodges and all you have to do is move in! Enjoy drinks by the campfire, BBQ’s and get back to nature, living by candlelight. It’s a brilliant family holiday option, what kid doesn’t want to sleep in a tent?
