A Taste of Ireland’s Hidden Gems

by Julianne Mooney

I’ve been hiding from the world for the past month due to a bereavement. However, life never lets you hide for too long and soon you have to return to normal life. This week the sunshine brought me back to life. The happy, yellow daffodils seem to smile at me as I pass by, blossoms are beginning to peak out and we’ve not seen so much blue sky since the heatwave of 2013.

I truly believe there is no place more beautiful than Ireland in the sunshine.

When I first went on Ireland AM after writing the Time Out Guide to Ireland they asked me had I found any hidden gems. Below are a few of my favourite spots

Ireland’s Treasures, Hidden Gems and Editor’s Choice

Inishowen Peninsula, Donegal

Hook Peninsula, Wexford
