Easter Breaks – Sunshine, City & Ski Breaks
One Easter Sunday, many moons ago, I remember there was some confusion over the delivery of our Easter eggs. My Mum was adamant the Easter Bunny had delivered them, but being the playful bunny he was, he’d hidden them somewhere in the house. Thus ensued a frenzied search for our eggs made of chocolate. We ransacked the house for hours, but it was fruitless. The eggs were nowhere to be found.

Mother’s Day
When I was young and couldn’t sleep, Mum would sit in my room and tell me about a pink fluffy cloud. She’d describe it and tell me to lie on it and then, in a soft voice, she’d talk through relaxing every part of my body. I’d be asleep by the time she got to my knees. To this day, if I can’t sleep, I lie on my pink fluffy cloud. Read more

Europe’s Friendliest City
Earlier this month, Conde Nast Traveler unveiled its list of the friendliest and unfriendliest cities around the world and it has to be said, Ireland ranked pretty high. The medieval city of Kilkenny came ninth and was the only European city in the Top Ten. Dublin came in at Number 13 and Cork, Number 20. Read more
